Jay drives truck for a living and
he combines the best of his profession
and his hobby in these Republic Carloading and Distributing
modules.
The lights crossing lights flash and a bell dings as a train passes on
the P&E main track. In the background, Republic's Balwin S-12
waits to go back to work switching cars in and out of the truck
terminal. |

Many Medford residents recognize
this model of the McAndrews overpass.
Jay built it from blueprints of the actual bridge. In the
background
is the Republic Carloading and Distributing warehouse and loading
docks.
Jay scratch built many of the truck models and custom painted most of
the
rest. He also built and wired the numerous overhead lights on this
module. |

A Pacific & Eastern hauler passes by the truck terminal and is
blowing for the grade crossing beneath the overpass. Jay also
detailed and painted the new GP-60's pulling the hauler.

Another of Jay's modeling efforts
include Rogue Produce and Cold Storage,
and of course, more trucks and trailers.
The SD-9's in the forground were custom painted and weathered
by Roger
Watkins and featured in an article on locomotive painting in Model
Railroader
a few years ago.

Since the pictures above were taken Jay has
reworked his truck terminal with additional details and this scene of
the service bays.

A Cross Creek Trading truck, painted and
lettered by Jay, waits for a train to clear on Track 2.
